Your toes will appreciate the left and right asymmetrical, non-metallic carbon fiber safety toe caps that offer an unobtrusive fit. They’re also 15% lighter in weight compared to steel toe options. This electrical hazard (EH) footwear meets the ASTM F2412-18 and F2413-18 M I/75 C/75 EH standards.

KEEN.DRY waterproof, breathable membranes work with the waterproof leather uppers to make sure your feet stay dry all day long. The proprietary membranes let vapor out without letting water inside. A mesh and moisture-wicking textile lining adds comfort to your steps, and there are removable metatomical PU footbeds for increased cushioning. TPU shanks add midfoot support, while the KEEN Luftcell air-infused PU midsoles are in place for weightless comfort. These midsoles meet the ASTM D471-06 903# oil and isooctane chemical resistance standards, too. The Keen waterproof boots are built using a direct-attach PU construction to create a strong bond between the uppers and outsoles without the use of glue or cement.

A KONNECTFIT heel-capture system was also used for a locked-in feel, and the 90-degree (⅝” height) will provide stability and help to “catch” or “lock” your feet into place. You’ll have certified slip resistance (Mark II) from these EH 8-inch boots, too, as the heat-resistant rubber outsoles (rated up to 572 degrees F/300 degrees C) meet the ASTM F2913-19 SATRA non-slip testing standards and the ASTM F1677-96 Mark II non-slip testing standards. The rugged rubber outsoles are also oil- and slip-resistant, plus non-marking.
